Branding & Full-on Social
Black Tap is an award-winning Craft Burgers and Beer place, started in Soho - New York, and now has presence in Vegas, Disneyland, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Singapore, Switzerland, to name a few.
Eleven Percent supported Black Tap with brand localization and positioning when it made its way to the UAE market in 2017. We created the branded content for all the ongoing marketing and advertising campaigns as well designed all the branding collaterals. In addition to branding and design work, Eleven Percent fully managed Black Tap’s social media platforms. We did the monthly strategy alongside the mother brand company in New York and the marketing office in Dubai, built a monthly calendar which included the visuals, copy, and daily/weekly/monthly advertising campaigns.
We also conducted monthly studies and analysis on engagement quality and brand sustainability, based on which we decided on budgets to be spent on social media campaigns, as well as the type of content to be created. We successfully managed to build and develop a sense of community by creating content people want to see as well as adapting a personal approach when talking to customers on social media while. Black Tap grew quickly in the UAE from one store in 2017 at Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel, to 5 stores in the country, 2 in Kuwait, and 1 in Bahrain in 2019.
Eleven Percent handled all the social media marketing and management for Black Tap stores in the MENA. All Black Tap’s Instagram pages we managed are now verified for being noticed as unique and authentic. Black Tap was awarded the Best North American and Carribean Restaurant in Dubai in 2019 by TimeOut.
